Finca Es Torrent is located only 5 km from Es Trenc, one of the most famous beaches in Mallorca for its stunning stretches of sand and crystal clear turquoise waters.
Over 170 species of birds hovering over its beauty can be found across the four kilometers of coast. This beach town in Campos was declared a protected area. Therefore, only a few beach services can be found across its virgin coast, and interestingly enough, some post-war bunkers as well. The arenal also has a nudist area. Slightly further inland, an expanse of lowland forest and scrub grows, which soon leads to vast pine forests. The gentle slope and the transparent waters captivate everyone who looks at them and, full of primitive air, not only stress-free but also bathing suit-free. Nudism is normal at the core of the beach, while all the rest is full of hustle and bustle with “chiringuitos” (beach bars), umbrellas and hammocks during the weekends.
Anchoring here is a luxury by the Gavina Island, despite the needed caution when south-southwest-north-west winds threaten the coast. Likewise, the civilized waves are meekly grateful for the natural habitat while its very own vegetation is wild.
The cars are kept in the parking lot so as long as there is space left. The first 200 meters to reach the sea can be heavy but they remain unnoticed the 4,000 meter walks from one Es Trenc end to another
Es Trenc is a natural area protected by the Law of Natural Spaces of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands, which considered it a Natural Area of special interest.
The name “Trenc” comes from crack or break, and apparently refers to the channel that breaks the coastline. The quality of its waters, the tranquillity and the extension of the sand make Es Trenc one of the best options for a swim in Mallorca.
